What ceiling problems do we repair?
We repair cracked ceilings, sagging plasterboard, damaged joints, holes, water-damaged sections and ceilings requiring partial replacement. Where damage is more extensive, we can remove the affected plasterboard, install new ceiling sheets, then set and sand the repaired area ready for painting.
Can you repair water-damaged ceilings?
Yes. We repair plasterboard ceilings affected by water leaks once the source of the moisture has been identified and resolved. Damaged plasterboard can be removed and replaced, with new sections carefully set, sanded and finished to blend with the existing ceiling. We can also repair affected cornice and surrounding plasterwork.
Can sagging or cracked ceilings be repaired?
In many cases, yes. Cracks, loose joints and sections of sagging plasterboard can often be repaired without replacing the entire ceiling. We first assess the damage and determine whether the existing plasterboard can be secured and repaired or whether affected sections need replacement.
